So, I'm just looking for general information from those that know more than I do about this. I've done several searches and learned some stuff, but need to ask some questions.

Let me start by saying I am NOT having any issues at the moment. My only CEL is a pesky small evap leak that returns days after I clear it. I'm not concerned about that at the moment. Can someone tell me what I have here?

I see it says "Huntsville" and have figured out that's NOT ideal, but it is what it is. I see two labels for updates. Are those factory updates, or an aftermarket company? I thought I read in a thread that the factory PCM's have fins on the back, I don't see them on mine, but it has a Daimler/Chrysler label.
Can y'all tell me what I have?
(FYI, I do plan on a Wranglerfix PCM at some point)

@06GEEP That is a pcm out of an 05-06 6 speed manual.

I am sure I will need to replace it sooner or later, probably sooner. Based on your experience, can you give a ballpark time frame, once it starts showing it's true colors, how long I have until total failure? Or is it like most electronics, and it's impossible to predict?

These things work, until they don't. The 2005 /06 ones have known issues. You have a 20 year old electronic computer with 100,000 miles on it. If I was in your spot I'd get the wranglerfix one now. This will save you headaches down the road diagnosing other issues that pop up, and they will. You'll at least be confident the PCM is not the problem.
