Damn! I thought mine was too shiny when I left it at someone's house for a week.

They look great. The few wrinkles you have will stretch out in a few days.

As detailed elsewhere, got the Savvy TC shift kit installed. Took 1/2 hour to get the hardware bolted up, another 3 or 4 hours fiddling with it to get it adjusted correctly.

BTW...

If you don't have this tool, don't install thing thing until you do!
For the top bolt? Great idea. 3-4 hours to adjust it though?

I did nothing to or for my TJ. Waiting on the last of the parts for the transmission swap. NV3550 shit the bed. Swapping in a new AX15 from Novak with a boat load of other parts.

You waited 3 1/2 months for the same thing I waited 2 1/2 months for 5 1/2 years ago. Well worth the wait. Mine still look new.

Well maybe I should use a brush on the passenger seat to get the rest of the dried mud that got there by taking the neighbor's 12 yr old son off road but I guarantee that it's not stained.

3-4 hours getting it adjusted? I just centered the cable in the brackets and bolted it down; didn't need adjusting. What did you use the wrench for?

My dad has a couple of them too. I couldn't bring myself to chop up perfectly good wrenches so I bought a set of stubbies a long time ago. Looking back... Yep I should have taken the old man's lead. I haven't touched the majority of those stubbies since they were laid to rest in my tool box! 🤣 🤣

I am breathing a sigh of relief, I was getting a little overwhelmed about taking this whole diff job on in my garage myself. I called a guy I forgot all about who has a local tranny shop. So we came up with a plan, I will source all the components including rebuilt ARB locker flat bed Jeep there, I have AAA tow. He will do the work on the rack for $500.00. He has worked on many DANA 35’s. He built an outrageous V8 CJ with paddle tires he trailers to Pismo. I would probably spend $500.00 on tools knowing how I am. My wife is the Happiest of all. 🙏

Mounted Black Rhino Ouray Beadlocks 17x8.5 -38 backspacing. 5.5 pattern. To check fitment. 3.25 backspacing.
These are on 37x13.5. NOT keeping the tires. Will go with what I am running now.

Currently running 35x12.5R15. Pictured in the front.

Wanted to see what they looked like under the jeep with the 1.5 spacer. I can go to 1” spacer and will go with a 12.5 wide tires and that just might not look to wide.

Is there anything I missed to get these tucked under more besides a totally different wheel?

Different wheel would be your best bet that is 5x4.5" bolt pattern. You can go with a 1" adapter, but you will have to cut your lug studs off because they will stick out too far. I see you live in commi New York so you will probably have to keep the tires under the flares.

Here is mine with the 1.5" adapter, OEM flares, 12.50" tires, and wheels with a -16mm offset. These are 5x5" JK wheels. The Jeep is a TON more stable going around corners with the extra width.

If I can get them close and have just a little sticking out with the wider flares I would be ok with that.
Hate to spend $$ on new tires and they still stick out too far. (Very relative term)

I guess I could use the new tires on other wheels if I go that way.

Thanks for the reply

Finally got the rear seat back in with new hardware. Now I need to reinstall the rear seatbelts and figure out what to do with the center piece that has the two female parts of the belt. Mine work, but are broken.
