Ordered the Redline goods Steering wheel cover from Poland. Very pleased with how it turned out. Took it a little over a week to get to Georgia from Poland. Install is a little tedious took me three evenings to pull the wheel remove the old leather cover, sew on the new one and reinstall everything. Clockspring was bad so I replaced it while I had the wheel off.

Well done!
I laced a custom leather cover over the wheel in my Charger many years ago.
I was too concerned about removing the airbag so I did it still in the car. Took me several hours sitting there in the driveway.

I'd consider doing it again on the TJ since the finished look and nice grip were way better than the original.
Did it come with any instructions or ideas on what stitch-pattern to use?

This is from the ebay source, correct?

I ordered direct from Redline Goods Website. It shipped from Poland. i paid extra for the FedEx shipping because I haven't had good luck with the postal service lately where I am. No instructions were included with it, just the wrap, thread, a needle, and some straight pins. They have some instructions on their website and a YouTube channel with some videos. Those instructions and videos show them gluing the leather to the wheel. I didn't use glue. My Sahara had a factory leather wrap that I removed it and cleaned the factory padding, which was still in good shape. It only showed signs of being glued down near the spokes where the cruise controls are. There was enough leather to tuck under the controls I felt like it wouldn't pull out. If it does I will go back and put a little contact cement on it. The wrap comes with a row of stitching down both sides. I used the supplied thread to go under every other stitch and pull it together. Original wrap was a baseball stitch but this way was easier and it is how the leather wrap is done on my 2021 Gladiator from the factory. Trick is to spend a little time pulling and stretching the leather until the edges meet. You can wet the leather with a damp sponge to get it to stretch. No way I would have attempted to do this without removing the wheel. You need to have everything removed from the wheel so you are going to have to remove the airbag anyway.

I was looking at these a while back. I really liked them because they were custom cut so you could tuck the ends under the horn cover and not have the leather fall short and have a gap.

You done good!
