That was such a fun week lol. And after that trip I stopped going with my friends down the FS roads and started whining about not enough rocks on trails
I just reviewed the carnage thread. Brought back a lot of good memories.

It is spelled bhoys lad.
you mean those things that float in the water?
lol. In all seriousness, I ended up doing the trifecta (poison spyder, golden spike, gold bar rim) in my jeep that was stock except for 31" tires and the lunchbox locker. I was gonna turn around after PS, but the person I was gonna turn around with didn't come so I went forward even though I originally didn't think I should be on those trails. So, I was a little nervous. There was a ledge here I was nervous about. So I just was not thinking straight and didn't notice that tree as I was staring at said ledge.
I think this is the day you became a real badass wheeler. Someday hopefully I can be one too.
That was my first day joining you all that year and I had a great time watching from the back of the pack as basket made basically every obstacle that day. We had more fun watching him then we did wheeling our own jeeps! Great day and I still tell people about it. Equally impressive was Trevor on Rusty Nail and Gold Bar rim this past year (other than the winch rope issue), it is great to see the smaller jeeps wheel!

I forgot the rope debacle. How could I forget the rope debacle.
Who knew any of that mattered! Not me!!!
Where were all the armchair mechanics when you needed them?

This is why you wheel with friends![]()
Like I could tell from that view. At least I could tell before you had any real load on it, don't think you would get there with how fast it was cutting.
