Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

Nuts n Bolts, cut grind and fab. Some carriage bolts and a cut to size old ATV tire for anti rattle, slip resistant, farm jack base… Maybe the idea will work for someone else too.

Works well with the bits of wood blocks I have, mends fences, actually gets used last one is at my folks place as they needed it for deer fencing property. And if your smart you can use it to lift the jeep, secure it with said wood blocks and change tires, ect. Now if you just go Florida man jacked you’re in for trouble.

I agree they are great for fencing, although heavier than my 50 year old fence stretcher, and yes they will lift a jeep. There are better trail Jack's out there, besides a HiLift.

To each his on, I grew up using the old bumper Jack's that work on the same principle, those were more dangerous than a HiLift!!

The most I used a HiLift for, was when I was in my 20's with 3 small children and a single income, it was my winch and it worked albeit slow as molasses.

Yeah there is a great many folks that have em for show, for any off road jack use the real $$ is in the shoring you bring, and time you take setting up your lift. The best overland expo is showing up to a new home builders site and asking for some scrap 2x6’s then throw em in the ole gym bag.

Started sticker bombing my tailgate skin, and started figuring out the cowl intake situation after I didn't like my initial plan and wasn't exactly impressed with the THOR intake box either

Wrapped the blockoff plates for under the hinges and the valance armor as well. The sticker bombed tailgate skin is also wrapped in 3m underneath so it can all just get pulled off in one sheet.

Still got a couple spots to fill in... @mrblaine you don't happen to have stickers, do you? Got a lot of BMB parts on the Jeep but I don't think I have any of your stickers. I've got a lot of chapstick though!

Went outside, stood there looking at the 2002 TJ and came to the conclusion that as much as I didn't want to spend the money...Replacing the cylinder head (early 2002 build w/o TUPY) that had a tiny crack, waterpump, radiator, and motor mounts were a hit financially - it was worth it! Now I just need to do a good cleaning .

I ordered some short 1/4-28 nylon set screws in June. They got here two days ago. Now if the laser shop would finish up some stuff I ordered months ago, we could start shipping them.

One thing I've noticed over the years is lots of folks converted to LED tail lights by drilling a 4" hole for the round versions. Then they are reluctant to go back to any other style because there are no mounting holes left in the tub. I made that a trifle easier by adding 4 mounting holes, one in each corner.

The hole in the back was laid out by making a template of the stock TJ tub, tracing around it from the inside and then handing that template to the machinist.

The marker lights are held in with nylon set screws mentioned above. The lights are directional up and down in order to get them to properly create the extra wide viewing angle so I needed an easy way to adjust them and line them all up.

Will these be plug and play or will plugs need to be wired in?
