Mopar radiator is out of stock anywhere I look online. Found Denso 2219234 in Rockauto for $142 but it seems to be too inexpensive to be a good one. Does anyone know a good Denso radiator or any recommended aftermarket radiator for 2000 4.0 TJ? Thanks.

I had one delivered yesterday. 55037653AB

This part number is specced for a later model TJ with auto trans. However, I have been using the same radiator, but for the manual trans, 7652, in my 2000 Sport manual. Perfect fit and function. The 7653 differs only by having the tranny cooler in the lower radiator chamber. So, I ordered a 7653 from wermopar and verified with them by phone that it will also work in my 2000, just have to block off the tranny cooler ports. Fellow said they just got some of these in today and mine has already been shipped.

I post this since all the 'auto fit' bots on Amazon, ebay and the mopar parts houses say neither the 7652 nor the7653 will work with a 2000.

How can it not??

Think about that for a second……
Are all aftermarket parts created equal??

Creep please read my wording carefully. I used the word radiator for a good reason and you skimmed right over it. I have been dealing with parts a long time and know the ins and outs so no need to teach...when it comes to aftermarket RADIATORS does brand really matter? If you think it does then please explain how.
