Hello all,
Picked up a nice used TJ a couple of days ago. It has 42re with receipts showing it was rebuilt 2 years or 5k miles ago. 143K on Jeep. It has a hard shift from 1-2 on the first shift or when cold is what I noticed so far if you are not going very fast. Seeing talk of PCM issues so I was following troubleshooting steps I saw on forum. That issue caused me to pull codes with my Torque app. When I did I had 4 codes. P0303, P0455, P0456, P0457 the first is cylinder 3 misfire the last 3 codes all dealing with evap. What I noticed was I had no CEL light on. So I turned the ignition off and on and do not see it testing CEL on key-on state. I did the procedure to test the dash a (hold trip meter turn ignition to on) and tests through all lights and gauges but CEL never turns on.
I know I have multiple issues to work through and figured I should start at gauge cluster. Hopefully, the other information is useful also.
Thanks,
Blake
