Was backing up a hill yesterday and stalled the rig. After stalling I cannot get the rig to start. Fuel pump turns on and ASD relay clicks when turning ignition to on position. OBD reader shows no codes. However, key trick shows P0522. I don’t thing the fault code is actually related to the issue and is a byproduct of the rig not starting.

Wondering if this a PCM issue given the code reader shows no codes but dash illuminates the fault code.

I have extra Mopar crank and cam sensors that I can try to swap in. Would appreciate any suggestions on trouble shooting.

In order to figure out if it’s a fuel or spark issue, get a can of starting fluid. Remove the throttle body intake tube and while someone is cranking the engine over spray a small amount of fluid into the throttle body. If it starts you have a fuel supply issue. If it doesn’t, you have an ignition issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that and report back.

Does the engine crank over normally but it just doesn't start? If it cranks over normally is the tachometer needle rising up to indicate engine rpms while the engine is cranking?

Engine cranks normally but doesn’t attempt to fire over. I will have to check the tachometer and verify needle movement. I do not recall the tachometer moving but will check.

If the tach needle does not rise while the starter motor is spinning the engine I'd suspect a bad crankshaft position sensor.

Thanks Jerry. Hopefully that is the issue. Have a brand new Mopar crank sensor sitting in my garage that I bought as a spare. I’ll report back tomorrow with the results.

Figured out the problem. Confirmed the fuel level sensor on my new Bosch pump doesn’t work. I’d driven less than 200 miles on a full tank fuel gauge was showing slightly less than full. Looks like I had fuel siphoned again from my tank causing me to run out of fuel. 2.5 gallons of fuel added to the tank and the rig fired up.

Going to replacing the Bosch fuel pump.

Appreciate all the help.
