What did you do to your TJ today?

I've always liked that bumper on your rig.

so do I, Ive not seen another one like it.....Im hoping it can be copied or just pulled straight again.... I'll have to see what the Insurance bloke says..
From what I can see it hasn't bent it too much..but I'm not a fab man so its just guess. 🤔

I'd bet it could be straightened out pretty good with a press.

If the frame ends aren't bent up or down compared to one another, and one rail isn't further back than the other, and the steering wheel is in the same place going down the road you are probably ok. That bumper could definitely be flattened with a press or a sledge and some bar stock

Yeah, she still drives well... no shakes and tracks true, that's what makes me think it's just the bumper..... 10 years and plenty of miles behind the wheel , Just hate seeing her hurt .

Ordered some upper rear spring buckets. I know one of mine is in pretty poor shape so I figured when I get the chance to put my new springs in I’ll just go ahead and cut out the old rusty shit and weld in some new shit. I got ones for the front from TNT customs so I have a good bit of fab work in the future between floor pans roll bar fix and spring buckets / bump stops. Hoping to get my engine swapped out maybe next week and the soft top on. So many projects and so little time and good weather.

I want that bumper. The new LOD crusher is butt ugly
Not so much a what I did "to", but more of a "with": OBA air system can run small tools!

That's a nice spot for the QR. Tucked back and out of the way. I am replacing front and rear bumpers hopefully this weekend. Permission to copy that please..

I've been happy with it, but it's heavy though. I got it 5 or so years ago and have had no issues with it, no rattles or anything like that. I do kind of wish I had got their Expedition series bumper/tire carrier because it's less bulky, but I also liked the recessed lights in the one I got (at the time it was the Signature series). I got the trail rack and jerry can mounts for it eventually and they have come in handy when needed.

Not a good start to the weekend as I hit the back of another vehicle in wet weather….. She literally stopped as the lights turned orange …..and I didn’t…. Despite me changing down the gears like a madman I skated into the back of her.

Did you get charged with following too close?

Nope … The police were not involved as it was a minor collision With nobody hurt.
The insurance company however said you hit anyone from Behind it’s your fault…(which I already knew)
The person in the lane next to her went through the lights but she decided to stop on the orange…. It is what it is

while back I had the passenger side u joint seize up so I bought 2 new spicers. replaced the passenger side on the spot that day and finally got around to replacing the drivers side as the box had just been sitting around on the bench. was already half way there with the caliper off already and figured why not.
front end is back together now and brakes are lubed. rear brakes are up next.
