What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed my adjustable sway bar disconnects.

Did you get the correct length disconnects? You should have some adjustment available, plus they are installed incorrectly. The U-Straps should go on top of the sway bar.

Correct length, yes.

Had a friend install them, he is a diesel mechanic BUT not a Jeep suspension specialist obviously! Nor does he read instructions!

Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the instructions say 10 degrees over horizontal, If that is not true, I need to adjust mine too.

That is what the instructions say, however, I contacted JKS tech when I set mine up because I had very little adjustment left. When they saw my photos they said that I had them adjusted too long and to set the sway bar closer to horizontal. I then did a little more research that confirmed that closer to horizontal was proper.

check out my bump stop find. Indented top and bottom. Bolt hole on both sides. Will not crush or break. 11/2 tall. Waddya think?? For the bottom front and it comes apart so I could piece it in through the coil after I tap for it.

That is good to know because I am just about at my adjustment too. And I thought I may be doing something wrong. I probably should have posted that here, but I figured since ultimately they were disco's it wasn't too important if they were at the end of their adjustment, but if I shoved a 3/4 spacer in they wouldn't be usable. I will get out there this weekend and lower them a little.
