What’s up with this salt neutralizer? I’ve been hesitant to wash my jeep due to reading about washing underneath just spreads the salt around and into small spaces. Does this neutralizer somehow eliminate that?

It is from the boating world, they use it all the time. It is also used in the car/truck world on fleets and road salters/plows.

Amazon sells a few, below was the cheapest of this brand, and there are some home made remedies but I will use this.

I hear you, but the cost isn’t that bad considering your getting the upper and lower control arms too. I guess the Fox shocks are on top of that. Yeah, it does add up, but this is a good build. Don’t know many running MC suspension on here, so I thought your build thread might help folks think that one through.

Installed new timken bearings.


Best thing about moving out of the salt belt was that the whole operation took me under an hour and a half. I had cleared the whole day!

Of course that may have been partially due to Jerry’s suggestion to use Kroil in lieu of PB Blaster on the mounting bolts.

Good choice. I started with Teraflex then went to Currie and now Metal Cloak. I like it best.

Installed the winch today. Bent the solenoid mount in the process but it’s on. Now to order a replacement mount [emoji23][emoji23]. I already hate steel cable to much. Going to be getting synthetic ASAP.

Installed new fog/driving lights... I think they're too small... ack! Oh well nooB jeep owner rookie mistake :/

Are those the Rampage 4.75" lights by any chance?
I just installed them on mine last week and thought the same thing, they look too small.

Yea I needed the winch first though in case I got stuck. Function over aesthetics [emoji1360]. Plus I’d rather save for decent fenders than buy cheap eBay ones.

Tried locating a wiper motor locally to no avail. Looks like I’ll be running rainx until I find one online. Likely a sign for me to get one cheaper that way lol
