What did you do to your TJ today?

C or F? Damn metric system. ;)

That damn Scot! using 491.67° F water freezing point and 671.67° F water boiling point, he's just friggin' crazy!! As American as I am, and always will be, ever since I was taught that water freezes at 0° C and boils at 100° C in 3rd grade, I've never understood why 32° F and 212° F is ever used. They also taught me that everything metric is based on 10s which makes perfect sense but to me I'll always be just over 6ft tall and I'm still happy that we didn't convert to crap like l/100km. And vaguely related, Imperial Gallons are bigger than our gallons because they started with 10 lbs of water (10.02 lbs maybe their scale was slightly off in 1824) but again I'm an American so I'll stick with my gallons that each hold 8.3 lbs of water and drive on the right.

"Kind of what I did for my Jeep". Got me a car hauler yesterday to haul the Jeep to MOAB and hunt trips on the east side of Montana, ETC.
Going to be adding a storage box and a extra jerry can mount.

Well, figured out where FedEx was hiding my packages, that took 1hr. Took the new LJ for a short road trip and figured out why the hard top was so damn loud - one of the windshield clamps had disconnected. Not a modification, but it really improved the ride enjoyment and the stereo sounds worlds better.

I now have weathertech floor mats installed. Tire deflator is in the glove box. The highlift handle keeper shipped was not the one I ordered, so not sure what I will do with that. Will possibly install the Drake hood latch tonight or tomorrow.

Should be getting in the winch and line soon, but was updated that the lead time on the bumper is now 12 weeks... Arrrgggghhh!!!. Towbar is going to the barn for a few months I guess.

I have been metric since 1972 but I still say "He,s about 6' " and even 8x4 sheet or 4x2 piece of timber but to tell you the truth the metric system is just so much easier! Americans say 2x4 which is strange to me because UK and its colonies always said 4x2. Your money is metric your Drugs are metric lol! They should teach kids in US school both systems, I learned both and can still use the imperial system without thinking about it, your Gas gallons confuse me though I know it was the British who robbed you of the correct liquid amounts but you have had plenty of time since 1776 to put it right! :)

makes it even worse that a 2x4 isn't 2" x 4" :ROFLMAO:

Installed the Misch big boy seat extender brackets. Much better but still sit too high and close to the roof. Have to bend way down to see the one traffic light in town here.
easy fix, stop further back from the traffic light! :)

Question, do your lights change by pressure pad in the road?
Most traffic lights in Australia use pressure pads built into the road, priority road lights stay green until a vehicle comes from a non priority road and the weight of the vehicle changes the light.

More than once I have had to tell old codgers to move forward towards the stop line because I have been stuck behind with the light not changing because they are too far back to activate the pressure pad!

wOot! Got my tyre on. Never did get used to not having it on the tailgate.

Still need to take a bit more off the snubbers. Had to air it down to get the nuts to thread on. Also need to align the mount better. Tyre is off center from the snubbers. Oh and uh ...... used the idea off the forum to use a rubber mallet. Cut it in half. Drilled holes through them.

Question about your top: do you just un velcro un zip the rear window and leave it bent over the top with the bar still in when you need full access to the rear? I just put same top on.

Yes correct. Took a while to get used to it but it's quick and easy to do. Unzip it about 3/4 of the way to toss it up far enough.

Wait, does 3/4 translate to the metric system ?

I only found out from a traffic cop years ago, I was sitting at a light waiting for the turn signal on my motorbike that wouldn't change, he was behind me got out and said they turn a blind eye to bikes that go forward of the stop line to allow a car to set it off. my Harley used to set them off but Triumph never did. I believe they are more sensitive now since they started putting push bike lanes in every road.
