I had a similar problem with my Dana 44 e-locker. After several days of head scratching my installer found that the cover on the stator side had some casting slag that was putting unequal pressure on the assembly on that end which caused binding. Once he cleaned up the cover it worked fine. My e-locker is the collar type. Don't know if that makes a difference but it's worth looking into.Dana 35 e-locker is not working...again... nothing but trouble. Took the rear diff cover off to diagnose and squirted on a new drain plug. Voltage is correct...calling Eaton tech support I the morning.
