Throttle body sensors

I'd just buy the one made for your model. I'm researching now trying to figure out but they do sell all the sensors for a 2000 4.0 so I'd just do that and take out the guess work.

I'll let you know if I find any that interchange.

I've done a ton of research before I even thought about taking my throttle body off and removing and cleaning the sensors.... but there is one guy on YouTube that talked about being able to go to a Pick-n-Pull type of place to grab sensors. Now he was talking about his Cherokee but I thought there may be some crossovers. Please do let me know what you find out. Thanks

Well the cherokees had the same engine as well so anything from the same year should transfer over including the ECM but I belive the airbox is different but that's irrelevant.

Also I'd go with mopar sensors. Except the oil one, I've gone with mopar. Some people have issues with bad quality parts particularly sensors from say napa or Orlieys

Do you know what year TJs have interchangable sensors? I can't find this info online. Still looking. My gut feel is something like the 97-99 is the same, 2000-2002 or something, then 03-06 but I have absolutely no scientific or otherwise evidence for believing this other than 2000 was the change to the wonderful coil rail.

Give me the part number of the three sensors and I'll tell you what other years of Jeeps (and models) it will fit. They changed the sensors throughout the years without much rhyme or reason. While one sensor may work on another (i.e. a sensor from a 1997 on a 2003 for instance), I wouldn't chance it, because you might find out you wasted your time and money.

IMHO, don't get a sensor unless it uses the same part number as the one you're replacing. Also, don't get any other sensor unless it's an OE Mopar / Chrysler sensor, otherwise you will have issues.
