WTF Mark Trail

I never really cared about the Mark Trail comic strip but I have read it almost every time I saw it. We only get weekend and holiday delivery of our local paper so I've not seen too many of the new M Ts but I've seen enough of them to feel like canceling the paper completely. OK, that may be an exaggeration but I can't stand the leftist thunberg-ish story line. Here is the new Mark accusing someone (his father? IDK?), then saying that he's not a hypocrite in defense of manatees which I guess he's more worried about than anyone in a speedboat that might hit one someday.

WTF am I looking at here? I don't know the reference writer. Looks like the stereotypical millennial blame game/debate escape tactic, though.

I have no idea what makes that strip comical. But the same statement applies to most of what I saw the last time I looked at newspaper comics. Dilbert was about the only thing that even made any sense.

There's a few web comics I enjoy, mostly nerdy stuff like xkcd and Nathan W Pyle. I used to laugh at Married to the Sea and Toothpaste for Dinner but they've gotten too political lately.

I've never heard of that comic strip. I guess the last comic strip that I followed was Calvin and Hobbes.
