I have 1997 Wrangler TJ 2.5L manual crank but no start, but i can start by add fuel in TB, and it can keep running and get code p1389, btw it can not show error code on odometer , and all gauge works fine , but i can use ODB2 READER to read the error code. I already check PCM power and ground, crankshaft position sensor has 5V, also change the new one . It seams like PCM problem.
Did anyone use wranglerfix PCM? I try to contact them by send E-mail and cellphone but don't get any response. Can I order directly from the official website?

I change ASD Relay it still not work , and it also has click sound when turn on the key, fuel pump works too, fuel press has 49 psi
I also chek it has spark

If you've got fuel pressure & spark & motion but still won't run then it's not your PCM.... Since it runs when you pour fuel down the throttle body.

You're going to need to do some troubleshooting.

And just changing parts doesn't fix things.

Good morning I am sorry that no one responded to you… Please forward your original email to me mark@wranglerfix.com and we will get you taken care of.

Thanks,

Mark

Probably the original email was intercepted by a spam filter. Taiwan IP address and a few wrong key words and that'll trigger the filter.

I wonder if we're looking at an IAC issue?

Hello Mark @Wranglerfix ,

I'm interested in a Jeep Wrangler PCM Replacement for a 03 TJ

Can you tell me if the skim will be removed and if I'll be abble to use my actual keys ?

Regards

My buddy (03 TJ Rubi) and I (2005 TJ Rubi) both bought new WranglerFix PCMs and installed those end of June. His with Sentry but only one key and mine being the troublesome 05/06 PCM version. Just as Mark indicated in advance, disconnect the SKIM module (or removed entirely) with the battery disconnected before the new PCM is powered up the first time and SKIM won't be activated. He still uses the original remaining OEM Sentry key as well as hardware store cut keys without any issues at all. Both 03 and 05 run better now with new PCMs...

Hello Mark,

Do you think the OBDLink MX+ would be a good tool to read any potential error codes after replacing my old PCM with yours ?

OK, I'm jumping in again before Mark replies, this still being the weekend...

My buddy (previously mentioned) and I both own OBDLink MX+ bluetooth scan dongles. Recently, kept in our TJs while various code issues were displayed and resolved (his most recently, EVAP-related with those now corrected in combo with a smoke machine). I chose that specific OBDLink model due to compatibility with Android, iOS and Windows devices, as well as multiple vehicle brand ECU software. Users must be aware, however, that effectiveness of such scan tools is limited to specific PIDs (Parameter IDs) available for DIY diagnostics. Older vehicles such as these Jeeps have limitations on what data can be accessed and retrieved. So far, codes indicating issues on both our TJs have been successfully identified and cleared, after root cause determined and corrected.
