I don't follow the NBA much anymore and when I did I wasn't a huge fan.

That said, in the 80's the dunk contest was fresh and interesting to watch at times... well.. highlights were anyway.

I had no idea it was All Star Weekend until a friend sent me this.

This kid was in the "G league" (essentially a minor league) last week it seems. He was signed to a NBA contract just recently to fill in for someone who's hurt.

The reactions for him are the best part....

Mac has been a great dunker since high school.

The dunk contest has sucked for a while. They didn’t do it for a while until I believe Kobe brought it back.

The big names don’t do it anymore and the scoring has been poorly handed out.
