I thought King Cobra was one of the better low priced malt liquors.

I don't quite recall what the worst beer I've ever had. Back in high school we drank whatever was the cheapest and probably had at least 500 six packs of bottled U Save Alot beer. We never minded that until one night we had a batch so terrible my buddy took it home and his alcoholic father tried it. He thought it was so bad he took all 4 six packs back where we got it, demanded "his" money back and brought us a 12 pack and a 6 pack of Genny Cream Ale in cans.
FWIW, today I never buy any American beer with names like Budweiser or Coors. My favorites are now IPAs that aren't fruit flavored. The main problem with those is when you try a different one you never know what you'll end up tasting.

I've had a couple real shit beers in my day. I think the worst of the worst was a varient Genesee county beer you can buy at Walgreens called Big Flats honey brown. It was awful. Like bachelor party drunk and still couldn't get a whole can down awful.

Don't drink many weird-o beers, but I'll try most at least once. But I won't waste my money on non-alcoholic beer, now THAT"S totally the worst to me. At least with any of the other beers, if you can choke 'em down, you can get a buzz!
When we were young, we'd bribe older guys to get us cases of Lucky Lager. Kinda crappy beer, but had little pictograph puzzles under the caps on the bottles. We'd all sit around trying to figure them out, and as the beer count went up, the puzzles got harder and more fun. Some of you west coast guys may remember those.

Lucky, Micky's, Red Stripe. All of those cheap beers came in little round bottles as I recall.
I actually like Carlsberg. Though it's considered a Danish Budweiser.
