Why do some people cover their license plates for photos?

I've done the same thing on and off with many various cars over the pat 35 years. I did get one missing plate ticket for pissing off the cop that pulled me over for some BS reason back when I was 19 yrs old. I do have the front plate on my TJ, it's bent up under the bumper but it's there. I don't have one on my 2005 Ram because there were no holes in the bumper when I bought it last year.

I'm hoping the cops won't shift into overdrive the last couple months the front plate is required.

I've been pulled over for 4 speeding tickets in the past 8 years and was never ticketed for the lack of front license plate.

Some people wear tinfoil hats too. I find them uncomfortable.

You just don't have the foil adjusted right. Mine fits great!
