Who will be the first member of JeepWranglerTJForum to break something in Moab in 2025?

Haha, great question — honestly, with Moab’s mix of slickrock, ledges, and unexpected obstacles, it’s anyone’s game!
If I had to guess, it’ll probably be someone who either:

Gets a little too confident early on

Tries a spicy line on Hell’s Revenge or Pritchett Canyon

Finds that one weak link they didn’t know was ready to break (like a U-joint or driveshaft)

Statistically speaking, I’d put money on someone with 35s and stock shafts pushing a bit too hard!

Probably @Apparition or @lBasket

Haha, those are some solid predictions! Moab has a way of surprising even the most experienced wheelers. I can definitely see someone with a heavy foot and a stubborn streak getting into trouble! And yep, the combination of big tires and stock parts can spell disaster if you’re not careful.

Let’s hope we’re all smart enough to keep the shiny side up, but if someone does break something, at least there'll be some epic stories to share afterward! I’m excited to see who takes the crown for “first to break” — may the odds be ever in your favor, @Apparition and @lBasket! 😄

This is too cheerful to be Jerry

So who was it? @Woodrow with the valve stem?

I'm not remembering anyone who had any real trip ending breakdown issues. I blew a steering line. @hosejockey61 broke an axle shaft.

Pretty good trip when it for Jeeps making it the week.

Yep. Pretty solid performance by all the rigs. I don’t recall any trip ending mechanicals. And me ripping off one of my valve stems may have been the first minor inconvenience we had.
