I have a Bestop All Weather cab cover that is more than what I need...

I am looking for something simpler, that works with the OE mirrors deployed, can be mounted over the TrekTop NX, doesn't cover the full door opening and most important doesn't use the tub rail to secure it.

It's just an emergency/overnight cover for when the bikini is up, the rear tonneau is on and the soft uppers are out.

Rugged Ridge has the Cab Cover, Lite Cab Cover and Deluxe cab cover.. Crown, Rampage, MasterTop, Mopar (at three times the price) and many many more. Which one? All are inexpensive enough.

I believe I want this style...

This is on my old Sport that I sold, but kept the cover.

Does that use the upper tub rail or just straps at the back. That's what I am looking for. I just have analysis paralysis and can't figure out which one to get.

Mine just uses the straps front and rear.

It has kept my stuff dry in thunderstorms and frog stranglers both.

I just got a Trail Cover last week. I like how the second picture in the OP original post. Curious to know what brand that one is. If it has adjustable straps, I'd be sending the Trail Cover back and getting that one.

The only thing I will say is that IF the doors are off, the Trail Cover will keep all the water out where the second picture will not. Also, you will need factory tail lights for the Rugged Ridge one. It uses them as anchor points on the rear.

I bought the master top last year and have been happy with it. It uses the tub rails to create a nice tight seal.
Using the tub rail is something I don't want. I often use a tonneau cover in summer and that uses the tub rail.

I had to dig out my "How to speak Southern" dictionary to look that up. I thought it was an Alabama late night recreational sport.
Somehow, I knew what that was Dunno how

Here you go... You might want to keep what you have. Looks like it uses elastic.

The one I have, a Bestop, covers when doors are off. I just want to cover to the top of the tub rail and half doors. And, you're right about factory-like tail lights being needed. I have the BMB billet LEDs so the elastic won't work for me.

Let's see if @John Cooper can provide a link. If I have to, I'll replace the elastic with some 1" webbing.

I've got the Bestop on a parts jeep, and bought the Rain Gear top for mine in the summer.

Lot's of attachment possibilities, accounts for mirrors and the straps adjust far better than the Bestop.

Thanks.. I don't need doors off coverage. If I did, I could use the one I have. The split in the edge of the sides to accommodate the mirrors was something I was going to do to the cover I have. The Trail cover would be the better option. Can't tell if uses the tub rail though.

For the life of me I can't find where I bought mine from.

It does use the OEM taillights to secure the back.

I would think you could make something else work for the rear.

Rain Gear, best one around, but pricey.
Notice the velcro openings for mirrors.

Yes.. I am pretty good with a thread injector (aka sewing machine) and planned on modifying the Bestop cover to close around the mirrors. But I would really like to keep the rub rail free and the door coverage is wasted on me.
