Where does this hose go?

Comes from the back of the transmission fwd. small opening, stretches to the oil filter. Saw it dangling down today. Thought Ken the Jeep saw a Barbie Jeep.

Looks like a vent hose with the vent cap broken off/missing. For either the transfer case or the transmission…

Where it goes is up if that is the intake end - shows us where it comes from

Look at the bell housing to engine bolts above the hose, the original steel loop may still be there.
