Where do you keep your pistol?

It's possible to break into most bank vaults too but not by the average dumb-ass street thief. Tuffy's products are strong enough to deter all but the most determined and well equipped non-opportunistic thief.
Took less than 5 minutes to get in my tuffy console and stock glove box. Dumped the contents out of the Jeep, busted the ignition and took off.

I agree with your point that anything can be broken into but I want to make sure people understand that tuffy's products are not impenetrable.

All that said I believe they are the best option and I replaced my damaged console with another tuffy and replaced the glove box with tuffy.

The Home Depot guys usually have someone follow you into the store while they are one there cell phone with the other guys outside so they know your not about to come right back out before they get what the want from your vehicle
It wasn’t their first time.

Who here said they were?
Your right nothing is. We had a large Knack Job Box that we thought was almost impossible to break into. They took a smoke wrench to it and were in a couple minutes. All you can do in jeep is keep things out of sight best you can which is the one nice thing about an under seat box they are almost completely hidden.

It is so sad you can't leave your own personal things in your vehicle w/o others thinking they are up for grabs😞 from these little fuckers and are our left wing defund the police crowd are just as much to blame right now. Just MORE dumb fuckers

Do any of you have a favorite spot to hide things in your vehicle that’s worked well for you?

Asks the guy from Miami?

On the early TJs you could tuck a brick or two or three above the fuel neck. Both of the rear corners of the tub are hollow and easily accessible from below.

As to firearms. They're either on me or locked in a gun safe. I don't trust anything unattended in any vehicle. I had a Tuffy under seat drawer and it was a PIA and waste of time.

Oh I disagree, my under seat box works well, I keep my 9MM and my wallet in it from time to time and its not a PIA at all for me.

What kinda of psychopath keeps a glove box empty🧐? Don't they come pre filled with receipts&papers from ages ago out the factory 🤣🤣

I meant the gun being empty or un-loaded, not the glove box! ;)

by the time you un-lock it and pull it out of there, you just might have some fresh holes in you, just sayin. I've been in two gun fights and was damn glad I was armed.

Depends-

M and P rides here in my f2fitty, Tuffy in my TJ, by the parking break or in the Bartact front lower pouch in LJR

I’ve got one tackle holster you can hook to Bartct Molle and it will ride under your right leg at the parking brake.

Beretta FS stays in the house with a full mag.

The drawer is unlocked and the gun is loaded w/ one in the chamber when driving. Otherwise its with me unless I am in place where I can not carry

It is on me all the time. I will not visit establishments prohibiting them as I refuse to become a human target.

Yeah but that's generally California, federal buildings, courthouses, airports and schools.

I'm working on integrating this into the dash of the TJ, but as you know, there isn't much room...

Plenty of room if you remove the passenger airbag.

Open carry here so no need to hide it. I have also maintained my CCW permit since they were issued in Ohio. Covers me crossing most states that I care to visit.

I use a combination pistol lock box which is large enough for me to fit my Sig Sauer P228 or 229 9mm. The lock box is attached to a steel cable which I wrap around the passenger seat base. When I go into a store or any other place I have enough room to put the lock into the center console. I can close and lock that while keeping the cable difficult to see from the out side. I don't have a CCW but carrying a fire arm in you car is allowed in New Mexico. I know the steel cable could be cut but I'm not away from it long enough for that. If I'm going to park the Jeep for hours, I don't have the gun with me. Not a perfect setup but it's ok most of the time. Better armed than not.

In general I do the same. I open carry, and except under unusual circumstances, (a movie that I REALLY want to see on the big screen, my Dr.s office, government offices), I figure that any place that doesn't want my gun doesn't need my money.
