What else should I do after removing manifolds?

Good morning, folks...

I discovered a ticking sound after replacing my exhaust system (not including the manifold). Lots of soapy water bubbling at the manifold gasket... so I am hoping that this is the culprit. This weekend, I pulled the intake and exhaust manifolds and ordered up a new Fel-Pro gasket. Now I am wondering if I should be replacing anything else while I am this deep into it (i.e., manifold bolts, manifold washers, etc.)? I do plan to pressure test the exhaust manifold before putting anything back together.

I should note that the PO must have already changed things out, as I found anti-seize on the manifold bolts... and boy did they backed out easily. Almost made me wonder if the bolts simply backed out creating the leak and tightening them would have corrected it. Oh well... better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks!

I guess I'd just put in a quality gasket and reinstall and torque to spec.

Looks like you've cleaned things up already.

I know some folks have ceramic coated their headers and intake to help lower IATs (intake air temperatures).
