Hey all,
I know this topic is well-rehearsed on this forum, but I haven't found an answer to this particular version:
If I buy JK wheels for my TJ, and use a 1.25" spacer to adapt the 5x5 lug pattern to 5x4.5, then is it still true that 31" is the largest tire I should put on a stock TJ? I'm wondering if the 1.25" spacer will prevent the problem of rubbing at full-turn, and maybe I could go for 32s?
I'm mainly interested in the question of clearance, rubbing, etc. Not interested (at least in this thread) in the question of whether my 2.5L can handle the larger tires.
