Tires are bald
Lookes like a rusty plate is partially secured to the frame with a U-bolt
Frame is too clean

Looks like there's a little rock in the tread. Don;t worry, it will sling out. No other issues.
I thought there was a guy on here that put leaf springs on his tj. Am I nuts?

there was a guy that did that about a decade ago, didnt care about the benefits of a 4 link and wanted leafs. you do you but I thought he was crazy
I was trying to find it and then was coming here to post. I knew there was one, but didn't remember who it was.
I knew it was a Minnesota rig so I searched google for the thread.
People were still bringing it up as some great accomplishment a decade later when I wandered into this world.
The only thing that would have made it better is a 1/4 elliptical and shocks mounted to the center under the tub.
I did it back in 2003 or 2004 with flipped XJ leafs. Would i do it again? Hell no. Do I regret doing it? Hell no, I had a shit ton of fun in that rig and at the time making $10/hour managing a Checker Auto while in college full time it cost me almost nothing to get to a 102" wheel base and have some fun.
No sir.. Granted its a YJ but after moving to the rust belt recently I was laughing at this frame "fix". About 30% of the TJ's for sale here are literally junk from rust .Sheesh...I thought chit on the coast/Pismo bch where I used to live got bad.

I thought that Kilby did a front leaf spring conversion to get rid of the factory 5-link.
And he called/named it a TJ-7.
