Who doesn't make sure the last transaction is finished before using one of those machines?
Idiots like me. Never occurred to me. Told the wife about it, she actually walked up to a machine once and it showed a non-zero balance. She had the droid clear it for her - she's smarter than I am, obviously. We both try to avoid self-checkout anyway, but sometimes...
