USB & Switch

A puzzlement. On my 2002 TJ Sport the R/H face Louvre is there but not used as such, instead it has a spot light switch with blue LED on/off indicator and a pair of USB sockets also with a small blue LED indicator which flashers between 0.3 and 13 intermittently. The usb's also work when they feel like it. It all seems genuine Jeep and is colour matched. I've checked in the owners/parts/repair manuals to no avail. Any ideas? TIA

Thread 'Rocker Style Double USB Port'

Search function keeps reporting Zero results for "USB" so I'm curious, has anyone installed one of the rocker switch style double USB chargers on their TJ?

Been considering doing so due to the better half needing her phone charged on road trips and I like to use my ipod for tunes sometimes. Was hoping I could find a thread where someone has already installed one to get some ideas, tips, pointers, etc.

Right sorted it, the USB part was duff, sourced one on ebay, ok now.
