Garbage entertainment just as expected. Only reason I tuned in was the 100 to 1 shot that Tyson would knock the punk out in the first round or two.
After 1:30 AM local time, I gave up and went to bed. I've read Tyson got $20Million, and Paul got $40 million. Per Google searched, Paul's previous purses were nowhere near the amount for fighting Tyson. Last night wasn't about boxing, it was about making $$.
I don’t think that was a fair assessment of his age. He didn’t try.
Maybe not age. He looked winded after the second round, moving real slow after the bell back to his corner, his legs looked tired in his stance. I was real disappointed in the fight.

Does he appear to be in great shape for his age, hell yes. But guess what Jake is in good shape as well…and he isn’t 60!
I hate that he went out this way, though for the money he got, I can’t blame him. And for those of us who watched him in his prime, it was disappointing to see him like this, he was 1 tough mfer back in the day.

What I found interesting was with all of those training videos posted showing Tyson looking vicious, fast, and terrifying, not once did we see that person in the ring. Not even in the first round.
were those clips taken prior to his ulcer problems? Apparently that really kicked the shit out of him.
He looked drugged up but I'm still of the opinion it was scripted and the biting comment sealed that in my mind.
Plus with how chummy they all were at the end it wasn't a fight.

i honestly wonder if only the usa had issues with netflix freezing. mine didnt go down a single time. stayed in 4k the whole shebang.
My coworker said his son’s stream was freeze free all night. He lives about 15 miles from my coworker. The son streamed via Verizon LTE home internet, coworker has Comcast and had issues. The son likely pays for the highest subscription level.
I can’t say how my Verizon LTE internet worked with it because I was 1700 miles away watching Netflix freeze over and over again from my hotel room.

how are they going to stream the nfl if they can barely do this event lol.
im on a fiber connection but tht shouldnt make a difference
Gonna have to spend some money their capability but the NFL won't have as many people wanting to watch the same thing at the same time.

Thats a valid point. i havent looked but i can only assume the numbers for the tyson fight were astronomical
I heard 60 million. I wonder how many of the 108 million were people who had it on their TV and phone, trying to get a stable stream?
Mine streamed fine, but what a waste of a stream. Then later we find out about the ulcer and bleeding issues back in Summer. No clue if things would have been different before then, but sure wasn't the Tyson of old. Wanted to see at least one good left hook. The most anti-climactic moment of 2024.
