My 99 wrangler is saying “no bus” on the speedometer. Trying to find a replacement for the computer isn’t the easiest. Is there another year that will match?

Check the ECU 32 pin harness connector and ECU pins for oxidation and inspect the condition of the communications harness from the ECU that runs along the firewall and around the threaded head stud (right rear corner of head). There is a known problem where the threads of the stud wear thru the plastic split wire loom, wiring insulation and in extreme cases the wires are cut severing communications between the ECU, sensors and instrument cluster.
No there is not another year that will match. 97-98 will run engine but not oil pressure gauge.
