Hey i have a 06 rubicon 4in of lift. I went thru the front end after buying, install crossover steering new adjustable controls and adjustable track arm. Made the ride and control 80% better. Went the rear was just trying to adjust the control arm and track bar and repair some awful welds. Rear diff almost 2 inches off center out the passanger side. With track bar removed its binded i cant move it to driver side no matter how many straps i used. Its my understanding it should free float left to right since as you hit bumps the moves left to right from the track bar. Any suggestions well help. Idk what well keep it from moving. Front end was as simple ass pushing the body around.

I've had good luck with the larger ratchet straps that I use to tie the jeep to the trailer with. I wrap one end around the tire and the other to the opposite sides frame rail.

What kind of control arms? Specifically, what kind of bushings/joints do they have?

I had no issues with a pretty wimpy ratchet strap pulling mine to center after a lift. In theory you shouldn't even need that. With it parked on a level surface just remove track bar, and jump up and down on the bumper a few times. It should be real close to centered then. Sounds like something is binding it up, and with the track bar removed that something is likely the control arms.
