Trunk door plastic vent rattle

Anyone have a subs? I got 2x10" sound is great no rattles except for the vent on the outside of the trunk door. Anyone know wat to do for that plastic vent to stop rattling? Is there a stainless steel vent available?

i have 2 10's in my trunk. no rattling though. Can you remove vent, rtv it, then reinstall?

Subs will do that. Your best bet is to use some RTV (as mentioned above) or make some sort of gasket using strips of rubber. Hell, even 3M double sided tape would work nicely.

yea that sounds about it. they don't sell any metal vents i guess haven't seen any. that vent rattles cause its plastic lol

so figured out what the rattle was, inside the vent there are these rubber flaps that were vibrating every time there was bass. just removed those and no more ugly sound.
