Installing a Savvy transfer case shifter cable kit. When removing the stock case bracket the studs backed out of the transfer case instead of the nuts unthreading. Looking for suggestions on reinstalling the studs and new bracket. Try to get the nuts off before reinstall of the studs? Thanks in advance.

You might be able to use some heat to break them free.

If I remember one came out on me and I just put it back in with the new bracket. No issues once snugged down.

Thank you. Some heat and penetrant worked. And the studs and nuts don’t look half bad now that I have them apart and cleaned up. I think the corrosion was only right at the outer most threads. I’ll put the studs back in with some locktite blue and get back to installing the bracket with the factory washer nuts. Slight shifter linkage project delay! Thanks for the help.
