You might be able to get away with no draining it with a forklift...raise the rear end up about five feet or so.
I think it's an 1 1/8" socket and I've usually had the best luck taking them off with cordless 1500 ft lbs impact wrenches.
Not terribly hard to do.
You could collect the drained fluid in a clean pan...or cut a side out of the plastic container.
