TJ With Compass Rearview Mirror

For the owners that have the OEM compass mirror that came in the 03-06 TJs/LJs. My rear view mirror let go and I glued it back on.. driving today I noticed the auto dimming hole (left side) looks like it’s missing a lens similar to the right side lens.

Can anyone confirm is there supposed to be a lens on the left side or not? I can’t recall previously now so I’m wondering if it broke when the mirror fell off from the windshield

Mine looks exactly like yours, no lens on the left. There is a CdS cell in there, which wouldn't need a lens.
