TJ Quick Cab Cover Recommendations?

How are they for storage? I have a bestop and it can be a pain to fit into its storage bag.

I lay it on the ground and fold it into thirds and roll it up. Fits into the storage bag real easy. My cover is getting old and I'll have to look at getting a new one at some point.
It's been used when the Jeep was parked outside and was inop.

Alrighty folks....

What is the strap in the middle of the windshield supposed to loop around? Does it go to the Footman loop on the hood? You can see I've just called it up on the cowl.

Yes it's supposed to go to the footman loop on the hood. Makes the rain come off the front and run down the side sort of.

I believe the pics I looked at on their site a couple days ago went to the footman loop.

My 17 year old RainGear trail cover finally met it's end... Don't know if it was the wind from driving down the road or? But considering it's life I can't say that I'm surprised and don't feel too bad about having to replace it.

17 years is a hell of a run for a trail cover. That makes it worth the cost.

My off brand one weighs like 700 pounds

Is the raingear as manageable to put on as it looks

Thank you- it looks like it would be easy to tell the orientation. The material wouldn’t be grabbing everything.-
It is easy to tell orientation. I usually throw it up on the top of the Spiderweb Sunshade, rotate it around to the proper orientation, then fold it out. Best thing about the RG vs the Bestop is there is no elastic.

Makes me think of the guy whose had 5 goobers- his pants fit like a glove.

I've had this one for 15 or 20 years. Not sure where I picked it up, but I'm guessing maybe Quadratech.

It did not fit snug around the back half of my cage, so not long ago I broke out the big sewing machine and modified it to correct that. I also replaced all the tie down points and it is now crazy simple and quick to throw it on. It does not puddle at all, and it is dead nuts waterproof.

Happy to make you one if you would like...

(Note - This would not be a cost-effective option 🙂)

I'd reached out to RainGear and told them my 17 year old cover was getting a little threadbare and if they offered a Veteran discount. Got an email back yesterday and it's a one time use code for 10% off.
So I've got a new cover coming.

Since I've got the "C" pillar bar on mine I decided to go with the TrailCover as opposed to the half cover since it was made to go over a softtop or hardtop.

Wish they still offered it in Gray as opposed to Black but you take what you can get.

It's heavier but still able to put it on alone. I've done it many times.

Yes, it's easily R&R'd by one man and the RG material is heavyweight as compared to a regular car cover and the RG cover isn't quick to deploy/stow.
