Hello everyone. I'm in need of some new tires sometime soon and was looking for some opinions. I have an 02 TJ with 255/17/17 JK stock wheels and tires on, with 5x5 1.25" wheel adapters. Picked up a set last summer for a good deal because I was looking into getting something a little bigger, but those tires are getting pretty bare. I want to keep the wheels, and I'm looking for a new set of tires. I currently do mostly road driving, so I don't need anything crazy, but I do live up north and work at a ski resort so I still need something reliable. I've heard good things about the BF Goodrich AT's (they are a little pricey though haha), but I just wanted to hear other opinions and recommendations. Thanks! :)

BFG KO2s or Goodyear Duratracs. Hands down some of the best all around All Terrain tires you can get. Excellent on-road and off-road manners.

You won't regret it!

Whatever you get make sure they have a Load Range C rating. D and E load ratings are for heavier vehicles and ride stiffer plus they can't conform to uneven terrain as easily which reduces offroad traction.

Yes! I've definitely looked at both of these. They are a liiiitle pricey (broke college student over here, haha), but they seem to be well worth it from what all I've heard!

If you're on a budget, and aren't doing any serious trails; then just go to Walmart. Any AT tire will work. It's not like there are thousands of vehicles sliding off the road everyday because they bought Walmart tires.

Or get another set of JK/JL/JT takeoffs. Not sure how big the stock sizes are.
