Tie downs for the hard top bolt holes

I don't have a hard top and saw these. Would these fit the TJ holes, or are they a different size? Their website doesn't list them as being compatible with the TJ.

Also, if there's something better or less expensive?

Just looking for something to use as tie downs for the hard top holes. They have some D rings and tie down hardware they also sell.

I emailed their support, but the reply didn't really answer my question and say 'yes, they will fit'.

That T handle looks too wide to spin with a hardtop on, but Im pretty sure no top on yeah theyd fit just fine. Just maybe use a washer on the top also. M8 is pretty small

Looks like these will work. I also saw this set on Amazon that lists the TJ. Looks like it comes with the tie down hardware too.

I've now had two responses from the first company. Neither response really told me if they would work. I know our TJ's are old, but a bit annoyed that people sell Jeep parts and seem to have no idea if they would fit 'those old jeeps'.

I use a 5/16" threaded "EYE" bolt with a nut on the top & bottom of the rail.
The shorter the eye bolt length the better to reduce leverage on the rail.
