Hello. My daughter's 2004 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 6L automatic has a leaking throttle body shaft is leaking. I tried searching but could not find the info I am looking for.
The mechanic found a collapsed vacuum hose and they fixed that but it is still leaking. Mopar has discontinued the part and I found a few others on sites like Extreme Terrain, but wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to buy a replacement one?
The mechanic said it was fine that it was leaking and should not cause a problem, but I am not sure how truthful that is. We also just had the Idle Air Control replaced.
Any insight would be appreciated as we are not mechanically inclined.
