Hey everyone! it's my first post here so please forgive me if i inadvertently break any forum rules. i searched extensively through the forum to see if this question has already been an but i couldn't find an exact answer or maybe i'm just dumb and missed it.
A few months ago i purchased 2004 LJ 4.0/Automatic Sport and have been planning my build ever since using this forum as a guide.
a few weeks ago i was fortunate enough to find a 2004 TJR 4.0/Manual for sale near me for $3500. The body and frame were completely rotted out but i parted it out and made my money back while getting to keep the front and rear axles and transfer case.
I plan on swapping the axles and transfer case into my LJ but from what i've read on past threads is that the input shaft on the transfer case may need to be changed since it came from a manual jeep and would be going into an automatic.
Does anyone know if the input shaft would need to be changed on the NP241? I've seen conflicting information.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
