Stuck Dana 44 rear pinion seal yoke

Thanks! Honestly don’t think I can get it to 200 with the jeep on the ground. I got it to 150 with my torque wrench and that was all I could do. Stuck a long breaker bar on there and could barely turn it any more. Hopefully it’s good enough

I forgot that the spec is actually 160-200 ft lbs anyways, so at 150 you’re really close to good. I’d leave it. I doubt an extra 10 ft lbs would
Even turn the nut much at all. Plus it’s a new lock nut.

If you hold the yoke in place with a big pipe wrench, handle wedged against the floor, you should be able to torque it to 200 ft lbs.

The yoke isn’t spinning. I have the parking brake on with the wheels chocked so the yoke doesn’t spin. I’m basically hanging from my breaker bar under the jeep and it isn’t budging any more. I’m just going to hope ~150 is good enough

~150 ft lbs with a new nut probably isn't coming loose, but there is no replacement for holding with the correct tool and putting 175 ft lbs on it.
