What am I doing wrong? It’s got to be something obvious and stupid that I’m missing. I thought this was going to be a simple quick job, two bolts, but it’s been a pain in the ass 🙄😂. First, I had to take the tie rod off to make room to get the the bolt above the track bar out, now I can’t get the stabilizer on the bolt on the drag link end. I already busted a rachet strap thinking I just needed more muscle to pull it onto the bolt. I tried moving the steering to one side to get a better angle. The angle is just too wrong. Is there a tapered bolt I can get with a different angle? Any other tips, tricks or something I overlooked? I buggered up the old bolt getting it off, so that’s not an option.

Have you tried installing the steering stabilizer onto the drag link first? The guy in this video is goofy, but that was his method.
