Not excited for whatever ridiculous thing he’s going to talk about in order to keep himself slightly relevant?
As a Laker fan, I'm hoping he is announcing it's his last season. That way they can get rid of grandpa to free up his salary and get someone that will give them higher chance of winning.
Though quite possibly some lame marketing scheme.
I will try to fight the urge to vomit every time he refers to himself in the 3rd person during the 'shocking' announcement.

I heard that one of the home run balls is estimated to be worth $4 - 5 million. They have to review the camera footage to confirm who caught it. Then he has to take a polygraph test.
I told my wife that it would be a good investment if I start going to post season games and get tickets behind the outfield. We just threw away $4+ million last night! We're wasting our future!
