Sportsball

Funny, that's about where I'm at with football and baseball at this point.

I would submit that if you think ice hockey is boring, you've either never seen it (or haven't seen it in a very long time, many decades) or have no idea what was happening if you did, which is fine. But it certainly isn't boring. Probably the fastest and most violent professional sport out there, and the skills, talent and speed of the younger players is nothing short of impressive.

But no worries, I've been shown the door, this is not my place. I'll let you boys get back to playing with your balls. :D

For the record, I think pro soccer players are pussies and amazing actors, but probably some of the fittest pro athletes out there. Basketball players are up there as well for all around fitness.

I attended a NHL game a couple months ago. There’s just not enough scoring to make it fun. If they had more fights it would at least be entertaining. Definitely more fun to go to the game than to watch on TV.

Also went to an MLB game a month ago and it was pretty boring too. Spent the time touring the stadium.

IMO golf can be better to watch than baseball, depending on who is playing, because in golf they hit the ball every time.

I typically only watch one NFL football game a year and I try to attend a college game if possible.

After the Pacers/Knicks game, the TNT crew talked about how TNT is losing the NBA contract. It's moving to ESPN, NBC, ABC, and Amazon. For me this is significant since they had the best talent and analysis. They made it sound like the whole crew is moving to the new network, but that was somewhat vague regarding if ALL OF THEM were going to be included.

After talking about that, both Shaq and Kenny used the F* word since there was no delay. Ernie and Barkley did not. At the end Shaq and Kenny also did a mic drop. Barkley seemed to cringe when they suggested it and didn't participate. So curious if Shaq and Kenny were bitter and not included in the new contract. Ernie made a long speech and was almost in tears.

That's my opinion on NHL. The ending score might be 1 - 0. It would be more interesting if there was more scoring. Make the nets larger, different rules, change something! Of course, the die hard fans would be against that.

I like baseball, but often have a hard time watching a game because it does drag on. There's no clock and they never seem to be in a hurry to keep it moving. Kind of like the shot clock in basketball, or play clock in football, they need something to make it move faster. The worst is when they're tied at the end of 9 innings and you have no idea how many extra innings they will need. At least I'm on the West coast. My dad used to say he could never move to the East because games would end too late.

It's funny that most people only know who that is because of Caitlin Clark... apparently the WNBA's viewership is down 50% since CC got injured 🤣

Pretty bad when they sometimes play bigger venues for her games and then she doesn't even play.

"LeBron wants to compete for a championship," Paul said. "He knows the Lakers are building for the future. He understands that, but he values a realistic chance of winning it all. We are very appreciative of the partnership that we've had for eight years with Jeanie [Buss] and Rob [Pelinka] and consider the Lakers as a critical part of his career.
