"Driveline Carrier Bearing (Spicer SVL line) And U Joint Kit Includes3 Each 1410 Spicer Select U-Joints (made in China)" Was looking up parts for my truck and came across this from a drive line shops ad. Spicer/Dana same parts correct? Im shocked.

I've ordered Spicer parts off Amazon and the company had tried the old bait and switch. I sent them back. Summit Racing has always shipped genuine Spicer parts.

In your case, I would cross reference the part numbers and get then from somebody what is necessary.

It's been going on for a long time.

I've heard of this but didn't believe it. I ordered these about two weeks ago from action machine and finally got around to opening up the box. This is what I found. Crosses made in CHINA?

Value Driven = lower quality IMO. A 6 month/50,000 mile warranty = only a 6 month warranty. 🤔

Ehh, as long as the QC is good, it'll be fiiine. Chinese manufacturers are pretty damn good when they want to be. I wouldn't buy the cheapest Chinese parts available but I would run those Spicer parts without a second thought.

Coming from the Samurai world, Chinese parts are really the better option on those rigs. With Japanese made Suzuki Genuine Parts becoming increasingly rare, its mostly Indian made Maruti garbage that is available. I've bought bearing kits and thrown everything but a couple wiper seals for the knuckles away because the bearings were out of spec. I swear they had to be measuring the OD of the bearing with a tape measure. 3 bearings, 1 PN, all different sizes. .012" difference between the largest and smallest OD. The seals had an incredible amount of flashing on them, and the seal lip had major defects from a damaged mold. The hardware was about as strong as a hard cheese. Hell, they couldn't even get the door handles right, The recycled aluminum they were cast from had zinc contamination. I could break chunks off with my bare hands. The Chinese made parts are what we have to keep them going, and they're known to work well.

Have you searched on TOYODIY and Amayama for your Samurai parts ?
I have had good luck finding parts for my 1993 LC P/U 3.5L diesel.
