I recently replaced my factory woofer in the center console and man it made a world of difference. But now that I did that, I realized that the other speakers are also holding back the sound. What speakers would you guys recommend for the dash and soundbar. I am on a tight budget so as long as it is well made with great sound, and it fits, I don’t mind.

And after upgrading the speakers, you’ll discover that the Jeep itself is holding back the sound and you’ll need a more acoustically designed vehicle.

If you plan to keep the stock subwoofer then kicker speakers should be a decent budget friendly upgrade. I would definitely ditch the weak 4x6 speakers and get a 5-1/4 adapter and put 5-1/4 all around. (Sorry for the duplicate post but the site keeps spamming me with pop-ups that crash the page)

I would definitely ditch the weak 4x6 speakers and get a 5-1/4 front adapter and put 5-1/4 all around. As far as arguments about other things people say or do, I really don't have the time. Peace.✌️

Lots of threads on this topic. Like this.

For the dash you can stay with 4x6 or do some work to make 5.25s fit. If you want to go up a level, get 'component' speakers so that the tweeters can be mounted somewhere else/custom.

For the soundbar, 5.25s fit easily, as do some 6.5s, but not all.

For what they're worth, you can see my notes here.
