I only participated for two days of this week long event, North and South Meadow Creeks. While understandably, most of the Jeeps are CJ's, two TJ's (one being mine), and a YJ were in the mix. My TJ was a very recent acquisition prior to these trips and basically untested. Not my usual style. I did manage to get the ARB compressor mounted before the North Meadow event so at least I could air my own tires up.
Day 1 (South Meadow Creek) photos.
Missouri-McKee mill. There was a tramway from this up to the mines, the cables of which are still lying on the ground.
Missouri Mill circa 1970/1972
South Meadow Creek Lake
One of the McKee adits
Geoffrey getting into position for the Black Bear swan dive. That is about an 800' vertical drop behind him.
Not much for trees around here at 10,000'. This trail gets you the highest of any in these mountains. South Baldy Mountain.
