Soundbar Dome Light Buzz

Has anyone experienced a soundbar speaker causing the adjacent dome light to buzz? Annoying as hell. I'm sure it's a matter of tightening the lamp (speakers are solid), but before I snap some plastic. Has anyone done this? Do you come at it from the bottom or top (or other) of the soundbar? Please no guesses.

Thanks.

EDIT: ChatGPT says you need a trim tool to pop off the light lens to get at the mounting screws, but chatGPT can also be wrong. So I'm leaving this here.

It might depend upon the sound bar, as in factory (and year) or aftermarket (and manufacturer). Post a picture of what you're working on and folks will be able to give better advice.

On my '05, I can pop the lenses off with my fingers. And I do have the buzz, pretty sure it's the lenses as I can make it stop by touching them. Not so convenient to do while driving, though... I have some 1/16" foam tape I intend to try on the pod surface to see if it solves the issue.

I have the earlier single dome light on the 2000. Vibrated like a porn stars favorite Hitachi.
It was actually the clear lens over the light that was vibrating
I removed the speakers and filled the sound bar with poly foam as Mac suggests. Stopped the chatter from the vibrating lens with the added benefit of improving the base response.

polyfill to the sound bar cavity and see if that helps.

Mileage may vary there as mine have polyfill and still buzz, though you will likely hear a sound improvement with the fill, regardless of buzz. I even put a small bit of fill in the front pods when I updated the sound system. If you are putting in polyfill, you don't need to pack it in the enclosures, that can have a negative effect on the sound.

IF the buzz is coming from the contact surface between lens and light housing, that is where you need to address it.

If you gently touch the lens and the buzz shuts up, pop the lens off and put small pieces of electrical tape on the housing where the tangs are. Pop the lens back in and it should stop buzzing.
