So after looking over my new 04. I noticed the black fabric straps that are on the soft top Frame are both cut off shouldn I worry? Or?

Tell me what you come up with folks.

The straps meant to hold your back window open? It's more of a convenience than anything. They're there to keep you from having to remove your back window entirely.

It's nothing a couple small bungee cables or velcro straps couldn't solve.

I think he’s referring to the front bow to rear bow tension straps. Mine broke and I made new ones. I will try to find the post, I put everything I could into it. Place to buy the material, etc. admittedly one of the straps I made is shredding after about a year of use. But, I bought 20’ of material so will probably just make another one and install it. They help with lowering and raising the top. Do they do much when the top is up? Not really sure. They do have tension when the top is up.
This is a quick find to what I think you’re talking about. https://www.quadratec.com/p/omix-ad...MIu6u2j_qg4QIVVCCtBh2JzwrXEAQYBiABEgLPIvD_BwE

Awesome man if you can find the post lmk and I might do that. Weather hasn't been so good so I haven't taken this too down yet but great. Lol

I thought I would just come back and let you know that the strap that shredded was not the one I made. I had only replaced one at the time. The one that shredded was the one that was on the Jeep when I got it. I replaced it in about 15 minutes and made two more for the future.
