We left out of southern Indiana on Wednesday 10/1, was on the trails 10/2-4, and rode home on 10/5. We had 3 from southern Indiana, 1 from eastern Kentucky, 1 from northern Alabama, and 1 from middle Tennessee. SMORR is a great place if you're camping. It is nice to be able to come off the trail for lunch or to fix any issues. Every Jeep with us had at least 1 issue. Thursday the white JK's (Elvira) fan quit and cause the back of the water pump to blow out (GM 6.0), Friday the tan JK (Clyde) had an ARB line break, Saturday the maroon JK (Diamond) broke a 14-bolt chromoly axle shaft in half, and at the end of the day Clyde popped a small hole in the radiator and my RC dual air compressor decided to ghost. All issues were fixed the day of (except for Clyde and mine) and continued riding.

All-in-all a great trip. Next week we are pre-running trails for the 10th Annual Meet & Greet Ride at Hollerwood in Slade, KY.

Heading to SMORR on Thursday. I have been to SMORR 4-5 times in the past but this will be my first time since 2023. Looking forward to it and this post just increased my excitement a notch.
We had a lot of fun. I'd say my favorite 2 trails were Puppy Licker and Rocker Knocker.

There are some good ones there. I really like Rock Garden, Double Whammy, Cheap Trick, and the top of Doe Skip (drop in above the waterfall). Larry's hill to Honky Tonk is also a great one! I somehow always end up on Puppylicker at 11:30 at night and have to race to get back before the gate locks at midnight, don't know how that happens, do you @AMS417 ?

I know I was guiding, but I also don’t know how it happened lol. One of those core memory kind of situations. Had a similar one last weekend in the new Kawasaki H2. Flopped it on adventure Hill in the dark alone.
